About the Role
Assist in planning and coordinating all activities related to software requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of Sciaky Electron Beam Welding and Additive Manufacturing control and software systems. Maintain, support, and upgrade existing systems and applications. Apply communication, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to software system design, development, and deployment. Clearly communicate written and orally, and present products and ideas professionally. Utilize strong interpersonal skills for interaction with customers and users in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Experience preferred with TwinCAT real time development
- PLC, HMI industrial technology programming
- Strong knowledge of version control (Git or similar)
- Strong ability to grasp and apply new information quickly

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Controls/Automation programming experience
- Minimum of 5 years of prior direct experience in software development, programming design and systems management
- Experience and understanding with C#, C++, C, Labview, Visual Studio
- Experience with hardware-software integration
- Good understanding of various communications protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, and RS232
- Experience with real-time system development
- Electrical Engineering knowledge highly desirable
- Robotic Programming
- Analog to Digital and Digital to Analog conversions
- Mechanical and Electrical Assembly
- Embedded systems design
- Experience and understanding of UNIX, VX-Works and VME systems
