Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of program services for youth ages 12 to 18 at Diamond Youth Shelter.
- Ensure the provision of basic services, special projects/activities, and an emotionally and physically safe, clean, and supportive environment.
- Provide regular supervision for residential counselors and case managers.
- Take primary responsibility for the effective operation of all client services.
- Supervise best practices for Residential Counselors and Case Manager service delivery.
- Facilitate staff meetings.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing development of Program staff.
- Manage program budget and ensure agency procedures are followed.
- Coordinate intakes and assessments, and support case managers in keeping charts and paperwork up-to-date and complete.
- Coordinate Program coverage and scheduling.
- Complete monthly reports and ensure timely and accurate data collection procedures.
- Represent the agency at community meetings/activities, when appropriate.
- Attend and participate in all agency management meetings.
- Ensure program and facility are in compliance with Title 22 Community Care Licensing Regulations at all times.
- Ability to pass DOJ clearance to work in a licensed care facility.
- Obtain Group Home Administrator Certification within 6 months of hire and maintain certification while serving in this role. Position will be required to serve as the Administrator of the facility.
- Hold On-Call manager responsibilities as assigned and scheduled in rotation.
Requirements
- Pass DOJ clearance to work in a licensed care facility.

- Serve as the Administrator of the facility.
- Serve as an After Hours On-Call Supervisor for 7 days, every 6-8 weeks.
- Work holidays occasionally.
Skills
- Case Management experience with Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), aged 18 to 25 of diverse backgrounds
- Experience in direct-service roles in drop-in centers, shelters, transitional, and/or permanent supportive housing programs
- Previous experience in leadership roles
