About the Role
The Community Leader is responsible for assuring that residents receive prompt, efficient, courteous, and quality service by supervising the general administration and physical operation of the property. This role provides direction for the rental program, maintenance, and resident relations.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team to ensure company mission fulfillment.
- Oversees and leads the maintenance team for all maintenance tasks.
- Informs supervisor of deferred maintenance, property deficiencies, and resident concerns.
- Reviews and approves invoices and monitors accounts receivable.
- Plays an active role in budget management.
- Reviews and approves move-in, transfer, and recertification files.
- Monitors community compliance with regulatory, reasonable accommodations, and fair housing issues.
- Executes evictions, collections, lease violations, and special arrangements.
- Performs hiring, job assignments, and evaluations as directed.
- Works to minimize vacancies and promote good resident relations.
- Performs clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Previous property management experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
