Responsibilities
- Administer, implement, and manage HVAC equipment projects.
- Manage project scope of work, schedule, and budget.
- Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives.
- Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.
- Compare estimated ship dates with contractors' project schedules and ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering processes.
- Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion and control expenses by monitoring the assigned project budget.
- Create and revise project schedules, including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
- Enter equipment orders, issue purchase orders, and generate work orders for equipment start-ups.
- Manage project cash flow, including progress billing, collections support and monitoring, and resource management.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in business or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; OR a minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred.
- Strong, demonstrated customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
