About the Role

Porters are responsible for maintaining the facility's neat and presentable appearance through basic maintenance tasks, including trash removal, front lobby support, and restroom restocking.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, and clean ceiling vents.
• Perform restroom cleaning.
• Ensure the building entrance is free of clutter.
• Fix minor technical issues, such as changing light bulbs.
• Report damages, call technicians, and monitor repairs.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies.
• Place safety hazard signs, including wet paint and wet floor warnings.
• Respond to major spills and other cleaning emergencies.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow evacuation procedures during emergencies.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Porter, Janitor, or Custodian.
• Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment.
• Good physical condition, stamina, and strength.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40+ pounds throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with security regulations.
• Solid verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, technicians, and customers.
• Availability for shifts, including flexible schedules (weekends and evenings).
• Reliability and professionalism.
• Willingness to wear the company uniform.
