About the Role

Lead Employee Programs, owning new hire onboarding end-to-end. Design and facilitate programs to accelerate productivity and understanding of company processes. Partner with leadership to build scalable training and develop lightweight tools for progress tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design of new hire onboarding, including in-person programming in our SF office and support for individual team offsites.
  • Build structured onboarding curriculum covering role ramp-up, cross-functional context, roadmap understanding, and decision-making processes.
  • Measure onboarding effectiveness (time to productivity, ramp feedback, manager input) and iterate for each cohort.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to contribute content and programming for company-wide offsites.
  • Design and facilitate a new manager training program covering core management skills and company-specific management practices.
  • Own personal growth and upskilling programs: identify gaps, build or source training, and track progress.
  • Partner with managers and leadership to identify where upskilling addresses performance or capability gaps.
  • Confidently facilitate large-group sessions, including onboarding cohorts, manager training, or team offsites.
  • Utilize AI-forward, no-code tools to build internal tools for tracking ramp progress and automating onboarding content distribution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in internal events, employee experience, learning & development, or People programs at a high-growth startup.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident public speaker and experienced facilitator, capable of running sessions for large or mixed-seniority groups.
  • Experience building new manager or leadership training programs.
  • Strong operational instincts and excellent project management skills.
  • Deep commitment to creating memorable employee experiences.
  • Systems-thinking approach with a focus on continuous program improvement based on feedback.
  • This is an in-person role, focused on building community.
