About the Role
The Senior Property Coordinator assists with the oversight of property management aspects of the Scatter Site program. This role tracks apartment conditions, manages furniture inventory and installation, supervises Property Coordinators, and ensures the completion of work orders and maintenance issues. The Senior Property Coordinator also oversees client intake and assessments, collaborates with clinical staff to ensure clients have necessary support services, and works primarily during business hours with off-hours availability for emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Property Coordinators
- Create and give presentations about Scatter Site program to potential new landlords, management companies and Brokers and vendors
- Interview and assess potential program participants
- Coordinate apartment turnover
- Oversee leasing of apartments and maintain relationships with property management companies
- Build apartment inventory
- Manage vendor contracts and data tracking
- Create reports on outcomes, goals
- Oversee and monitor apartment repairs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property management (rent administration, real estate identification, leasing or property management)
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working in Scattered Site housing or residential housing for tenants with special needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and analytic skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams; familiarity with Access-based database preferred
- Ability to travel to clients’ apartments to make home visits throughout New York City
