  • Partner with product and design teams to translate requirements into well-scoped technical work.
  • Advocate for engineering feasibility and quality by pushing back on scope when necessary.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions beyond just task execution.
  • Participate in roadmap discussions and identify opportunities for technical innovation.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tooling within the team, such as Claude Code.
  • Drive a culture where AI accelerates team output in areas like code generation, test writing, documentation, and code review.
  • Stay updated on AI tooling advancements and recommend new tools to leadership.
  • Collaborate on integrating LLM capabilities into the product.
  • Take ownership of team delivery, including estimates, commitments, and follow-through.
  • Communicate risks and blockers clearly and early to engineering leadership.
  • Help define and refine engineering processes as the team scales.
  • Contribute to on-call duties and incident response.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience building AI-powered features or integrating LLMs into production applications (Nice to Have).
  • Hands-on experience with AI developer tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or similar) (Nice to Have).
