About the Role
We are seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level tennis programs for children ages 5-10 in schools across the Bay Area. All lesson plans and equipment are provided to foster a fun, active, and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans
- Manage groups of 8-16 students
- Create a safe and positive learning environment
- Attend a 2-day unpaid training/shadowing session
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in/out
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff
- Take class photos for program documentation
Requirements
- At least 19 years old
- Playing or coaching experience preferred
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must complete a TB test and Live Scan background check
- Must provide a photo and short biography for the company website
- Must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work
- Applicants must already be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Visa sponsorship is not available
