About the Role

Foundation Communities' Health Coverage Program is hiring HAAM Eligibility Specialists to assist local musicians who are members of the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). This seasonal position offers an opportunity to help musicians access affordable healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate intake and enrollment assistance to HAAM members by phone.
• Convey accurate knowledge about Marketplace health insurance and HAAM services (training provided).
• Complete and accurate data entry.
• Protect confidential consumer information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Greater Austin area for in-person onboarding and training.
• Must have a dedicated, quiet, and distraction-free workspace.
• Must have a reliable and secure internet connection (no public Wi-Fi).
• Must have secure storage for computer equipment and materials.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer skills (including efficiently navigating between multiple programs/windows).
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, team player.
• Ability to work well with a wide range of individuals.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
