About the Role

Exit Mold is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Dust Wipe & Paint Chip Inspector for field operations. This role involves traveling to job sites, conducting inspections, collecting samples, and maintaining accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, comfortable working independently, and can manage a busy daily schedule efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to approximately 7–10 assigned job sites per day.
  • Complete dust wipe and paint chip inspections per company procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Properly collect, label, handle, and prepare laboratory samples.
  • Document completed assignments on the shared tracking sheet promptly after each job.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding job status, completed assignments, and any issues.
  • Notify manager immediately if job site access is unavailable before leaving the location.
  • Contact manager for additional assignments if all scheduled jobs are completed before the end of the workday.
  • Deliver all laboratory samples to the designated FedEx location by approximately 5:00 PM to meet the daily shipping cutoff.
  • Use personal, reliable transportation to travel between assigned job sites.
  • Walk to job locations and navigate stairs when elevators are unavailable.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all required information is submitted in a timely manner.
  • Follow all applicable company procedures, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Current EPA license/certification in good standing is required.
  • Reliable personal transportation is required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel between multiple job sites throughout the workday.
  • Ability to walk to job locations and climb stairs when necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when collecting samples and documenting work.
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
  • Dependable and able to work independently in the field.
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness.
  • Ability to manage approximately 7–10 assignments per day while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Comfortable adapting to schedule changes and additional assignments throughout the day.
  • Professional and respectful when interacting with customers, property representatives, and team members.
