About the Role

Alternative Payments is building the financial operating system for SMBs, consolidating the disconnected tech stack that holds service-based businesses back. We are at an inflection point, closing the loop on money movement and laying the foundation for a platform that will reshape how service businesses operate financially. We're growing fast, thinking big, and building a global team that wants to be part of something that lasts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Partner motion end-to-end — from cold outreach through onboarding, activation, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Run structured activation sequences with new partners from first outreach through active referral generation.
  • Represent Alternative Payments at key industry conferences and events.
  • Collaborate with internal Sales and Marketing teams to maximize the impact of partnerships on new business.
  • Propose improvements and help establish a repeatable partnership motion that can scale across new ecosystems.
  • Mentor and support team members, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS sales and/or partnerships.
  • Proven track record in outbound sales motions — cold outreach, pipeline generation, and building relationships from zero.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the EQ to develop complex, trust-based partnerships over time.
  • A proactive, highly organized mindset with the ability to operate independently and solve problems without a playbook.
  • Comfort representing a company at industry conferences and events.
  • Track record of mentoring, leading projects, or driving organizational improvements.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic, and high-impact environments.
