About the Role
As a Product Manager, you will own a part of Corridor's product from conception to launch. You will engage with customers, define problems, prototype solutions, and deliver the product, ensuring it provides value to users. The target users are technical professionals including security engineers, platform teams, and developers working with AI-generated code. Strong intuition for how engineers think and work is crucial, and this role involves close collaboration with the engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Own a scoped product area from problem framing through prototyping, rollout, and measurement.
- Ship and experiment rapidly, testing ideas with customers and retaining successful ones.
- Engage directly with security engineers, platform teams, and developers to translate insights into clear product direction.
- Utilize AI tools extensively for prototyping and enhancing personal and team productivity.
- Transform ambiguous, technical challenges into simple, well-reasoned specifications for engineering, customers, and leadership.
- Empower team members to experiment with product functionality while maintaining a clear focus on customer needs.
- Establish a streamlined operating cadence to ensure visibility of decisions, tradeoffs, dependencies, owners, and progress for the entire team.
Requirements
- Possess a technical background with the ability to read code, understand systems, and engage in technical discussions with engineers.
- Demonstrate self-starter qualities with a passion for learning, capable of making progress on complex, under-specified problems independently.
- Exhibit fluency with AI tools, proactively using them to increase efficiency and automate tasks.
- Communicate complex technical topics clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
- Exhibit high agency and urgency, taking ownership of problems from start to finish and delivering results quickly.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, translating vague goals into actionable priorities with defined outcomes, scope, owners, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
