About the Role
Experienced warehouse associate capable of leading others in receiving and unloading carriers, delivering packages, pulling orders, and putting material away. Requires a great eye for detail, basic math skills, and knowledge of ERP systems for entering and receiving purchase orders.
Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to safely unload carriers.
- Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies.
- Manage inventory, storekeeping, and stockroom operations for mechanical and electrical components.
- Utilize computer programs for the receipt of purchased goods.
- Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorized signatures.
- Pick and pack sales orders, work orders, and kits for the production floor daily.
- Train and oversee the work of other warehouse associates.
- Serve as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of previous warehouse or stockroom experience.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
- Good communication skills for interfacing with carriers, internal customers, and management.
- Ability to lift or pull objects up to 50+ lbs. with or without accommodation.
- Team-oriented attitude.
- Works well with others to assist in their job duties and train as required.
