About the Role

Experienced warehouse associate capable of leading others in receiving and unloading carriers, delivering packages, pulling orders, and putting material away. Requires a great eye for detail, basic math skills, and knowledge of ERP systems for entering and receiving purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, to safely unload carriers.
• Inspect deliveries for damages and discrepancies.
• Manage inventory, storekeeping, and stockroom operations for mechanical and electrical components.
• Utilize computer programs for the receipt of purchased goods.
• Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorized signatures.
• Pick and pack sales orders, work orders, and kits for the production floor daily.
• Train and oversee the work of other warehouse associates.
• Serve as a back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of previous warehouse or stockroom experience.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Good communication skills for interfacing with carriers, internal customers, and management.
• Ability to lift or pull objects up to 50+ lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Team-oriented attitude.
• Works well with others to assist in their job duties and train as required.
