About the Role
You will be responsible for the editing of our daily business podcast "im Loop" and will drive the format to the next level visually, in narrative rhythm, and on social media. The remaining 40% of your time will be spent as part of our creative team working on other video content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Responsibilities
- Daily editing of our video podcast, ensuring reliability, daily rhythm, and consistently high quality.
- Further development of the "im Loop" format, including look, rhythm, graphic language, and sound.
- Reviewing episodes and creating standalone shorts for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok.
- Building reusable assets, templates, and workflows to balance quality and speed.
- Close collaboration with the editorial team, providing feedback on what works in editing.
- Production of long-form videos for YouTube and further development of our formats.
- Production of vertical videos to provide daily information to our community.
- Videography, including setup and creative execution of studio shoots, interviews, and external location shoots.
- All aspects of post-production: editing, motion graphics, subtitles, sound, and music.
Requirements
- Passion for video and podcasts.
- Ability to work with a daily rhythm, structured work habits, meeting deadlines without compromising quality, and striving for continuous improvement.
- Experience with talk, interview, or podcast formats is a plus.
- Understanding of what makes a vertical video effective: hook, pacing, editing frequency, subtitles.
- An eye for detail and a feel for aesthetics in image, sound, and music selection.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for efficient and high-quality content creation.
- Interest in business and financial topics.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
- Team player, performance-oriented, and proactive in implementing ideas.
- Openness to trying new things.
