Responsibilities

  • Adjust equipment based on tooling and specific technical requirements.
  • Program PLC and HMI for operator use on 9700XY model.
  • Communicate customer needs and design requirements to the Engineering department.
  • Provide internal and external support.
  • Support customer technical problems pre- and post-product sale and determine solutions for quality and productivity.
  • Supply data-based literature to support Zierick equipment for specific applications.
  • Generate product notes on how to implement specific functionality of a product.
  • Ensure reliable operation of applications, identifying root causes of issues and determining mitigation options and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot internal and external applications.
  • Contact and communicate with outside vendors and customers.
  • Manage APIN (Applicator Inventory), including cycle counts, relabeling, and quality checks.
  • Perform conceptual or run-off testing that is quantifiable.
  • Perform special projects, as needed, supporting outside departments and production.
  • Adhere to document control practices.
  • Follow safety procedures.
  • Inspect components and ensure quality.
  • Assist in Engineering research, testing, and development.

Requirements

  • Mechanical ability.
  • Proficient use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to use CAD software (e.g. Solidworks).
  • Metrology.
