About the Role

This team comprises highly specialized resources in ASC 740, provision process, and internal controls over the tax provision. As a member, you will work closely with leaders to serve companies needing assistance with tax accounting for transactions or their ongoing tax provision process. You will become a trusted business advisor to clients while helping organizations grow and benefit from mentorship by recognized tax professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver high-quality tax accounting and risk solutions.
  • Foster strong client relationships.
  • Lead teams through complex challenges.
  • Review tax provision to assist companies with all aspects of their preparation.
  • Effectively manage and deliver processes, solutions, and projects, ensuring a focus on quality and risk management.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions through research, analysis, and best practices.
  • Guide and supervise others to deliver complex technical initiatives, applying depth of expertise to interpret issues and recommend solutions.
  • Meet performance objectives and metrics, including client service, quality and risk management, sales and business growth, solution development, and teaming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree) in Accounting or related field; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred.
  • Typically, no less than 4 - 6 years of relevant tax or legal experience.
  • CPA certification or licensed attorney status.

  • Experience participating in client working sessions and leading RFP responses.

  • US base salary range: $116,200 to $212,900
  • New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) base salary range: $139,400 to $242,000
