About the Role
Join Austin Country Club, one of Texas's oldest and most prestigious private clubs, as a full-time Banquet Bartender. This role is crucial for delivering first-class service during club events, holidays, and functions.
Responsibilities
- Set up portable bars for events
- Prepare garnishes and ingredients
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked and organized
- Mix, prepare, and serve classic and craft cocktails
- Maintain accurate records
- Keep the bar area clean and up to health code standards
- Collaborate with team members and managers
- Respond to guest needs
- Participate in monthly inventory counts
- Attend staff meetings
- Complete assignments from the Food and Beverage Manager or supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of bartending experience in a restaurant or club
- TABC and Texas Food Handlers certifications
- Base knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor
- Ability to create classic and craft cocktails
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Genuine passion for delivering top-notch service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to move and lift up to 55 - 90 lbs, stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills (a plus)
- Weekend and holiday availability is essential
