About the Role
Students will assist ICLC staff with daily office operations and take initiative on various projects, gaining meaningful experiential learning and developing transferable skills.
Responsibilities
- Create content and develop social media strategy, including Instagram stories, grid posts, and videos.
- Assist with the development of ideas for posts and engagement strategies.
- Edit short videos for Reels or website content.
- Research events and attractions for the weekly newsletter.
- Assist ICLC staff with general administrative duties such as returning library books, routine building checks, and answering the door.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a student on a ‘student’ visa, or hold a current UK or Irish passport.
- Must have an available period of time in their schedule from 9am-5:15pm Monday through Thursday.
- Must provide original, unexpired, authorized personal identification documents to complete the I-9 form.
- Resume and cover letter are required.
Skills
- Familiarity with design applications such as Canva, Photoshop, and Premier Pro is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant social media trends is desirable.
- Knowledge of video editing in Premiere Pro is useful, but not required.
