About the Role
The Senior Program Manager will implement high-quality programmatic services and manage complex projects to drive impact on educator practice and student learning. This mid-level position with some management responsibilities is essential for successful delivery of programmatic goals and long-term sustainability of partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Designing and facilitating professional learning content, services, and tools/resources
- Serving as a content expert and taking on project leadership roles when needed
- Managing project plans, contracts, and invoices to ensure accurate, timely delivery of services
- Collaborating across departments and supporting team members through coaching or people management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five or more years of combined experience in PK-12 education, with a minimum of two years teaching PK-12 students from traditionally underserved backgrounds with demonstrated evidence of impact
- Three or more years of combined experience working with external partners to manage workflow or deliver services
- Three or more years of combined experience planning and implementing projects
- Three or more years of combined experience leading or coaching the implementation of HQIM
- Deep knowledge and experience with College- and Career-Ready math or ELA content and practice standards
- Experience designing impactful professional learning for educators
- Experience facilitating impactful professional learning or coaching for educators
- Experience managing relationships with clients and stakeholders in an education context
- Experience teaching or coaching at least one specified ELA or Math curriculum
- Strong commitment to a growth mindset for both adults and students
- Ability to design and deliver high-quality, evidence-based professional learning
- Compelling communication and facilitation skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects, multiple priorities, and tight timelines
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
- Must undergo a 90-day introductory period
- Required to enroll in Teaching Lab’s payroll direct deposit program
- Required to sign an acknowledgment of receipt and abide by all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook
- Must have consent for background investigation
- Must provide supporting documents for Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) within three days of hire date
- Must not have another full-time employer in addition to Teaching Lab
