About the Role

We’re seeking an Engineering Documentation Specialist to create, test, and validate documentation supporting software releases, engineering changes, testing, and product development. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure documentation accuracy and process adherence, contributing throughout the development lifecycle in an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to prepare and process engineering change requests.
• Collaborate with engineering, change control, and marketing to move changes through the processes.
• Read and interpret engineering prints, technical documentation, and related materials.
• Create clear, accurate standard work instructions and supporting documentation.
• Troubleshoot using technical documentation and help ensure documentation is completed on time.
• Collect data through hands-on work and assist with assessment and evaluation.
• Evaluate development software, testing processes, and procedures.
• Work in an engineering lab environment to assess product development.
• Occasionally use hand tools to build or modify equipment as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Practical understanding of engineering principles and documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Salary/Compensations

• $27.52 - $35.29 per hour
