About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientated Community Fundraising Coordinator to support the Community Fundraising Team to deliver income growth across three charity brands. This role will be key in supporting the implementation of exciting plans to grow our Community Fundraising programme, developing and delivering engaging supporter journeys, building meaningful relationships with supporters, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operational delivery of the programme. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working with charity supporters and is passionate about creating an excellent supporter experience, requiring organization, a supporter focus, and comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with community fundraisers, providing first-class stewardship to maximize engagement and loyalty.
- Lead on and deliver supporter journeys that are supporter-centric, creative, and mindful of ROI.
- Develop and deliver a continuous improvement approach to the ongoing management of supporter journeys.
- Lead on the fulfillment of fundraising materials requests from supporters, managing and replenishing stock levels.
- Support the Community Fundraising Leads on project management for income growth from community fundraising audiences.
- Support the Community Fundraising Leads to develop and ensure project milestones and KPIs are met, delivering monthly updates on progress.
- Work collaboratively across the wider fundraising team, charity, and hospital colleagues to create a culture of fundraising.
- Co-ordinate and attend activities onsite in hospitals.
- Work collaboratively with Supporter Care to manage escalated supporter enquiries and develop effective processes.
- Deliver training for our volunteer programme and colleagues where applicable.
- Support the wider Community & Events team with stewardship, fulfillment, and events preparation.
- Take a proactive approach to working in a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Support content generation for Fundraising and Experience & Engagement teams by identifying fundraisers to share their experience.
- Analyze data and gather supporter feedback.
- Ensure data processing is accurate, timely, and up to date.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Community Fundraising Manager or Head of Community & Events.

- Experience of working in a fundraising environment.
- Experience of delivering an excellent customer/support stewardship experience.
- Knowledge of a Fundraising Database (e.g., Raiser’s Edge or SalesForce).
- Understanding of NHS Charities or healthcare fundraising.
