About the Role
A-MAX Insurance is seeking motivated individuals to join their growing team as an Insurance Sales Agent. This role offers intensive training, licensing support, and an opportunity to build a rewarding career in insurance sales with a supportive and dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with various insurance needs including new policies, policy edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements.
- Inspect vehicles to assess insurance risk based on condition, age, and other characteristics.
- Seek out new clients through networking and marketing efforts.
- Develop marketing strategies with the office manager to attract new customers.
- Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and liaise with underwriting to finalize policies.
- Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred).
- Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
- Basic Computer knowledge.
- Strong written, verbal, and people skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
- Quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.
- Complete continuing education courses as required to maintain active license status.
