About the Role
The Revenue and Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining and analyzing the organization’s pricing structures, supplier rebate systems, and general ledger activities. This role provides critical financial insights, ensures the integrity of revenue streams, and supports the preparation of financial statements to guide strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze the company’s Price Book and Price Guides.
- Oversee and track supplier rebates and billbacks, including collections and reporting.
- Manage and evaluate costing and inventory valuation systems.
- Monitor and report on gross profit, pricing, and company KPIs.
- Organize and analyze large datasets to create actionable reports.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial and revenue-based analysis for management.
- Oversee accounting processes ensuring proper GL coding.
- Prepare and post monthly general ledger entries.
- Complete monthly reconciliations and general ledger schedules.
- File monthly sales tax, beer tax, and TMT returns.
- Process GL exports from Eostar; review and post to the general ledger.
- Assist with the monitoring of the budget trackers for brand support.
- Assist in identifying and correcting Chain pricing.
- Other GL and office duties as assigned.
- Uphold customer service philosophy and exemplify company standards while executing business activities.
- Strive to build and maintain a favorable reputation of the Company to fulfill the vision of being the “Preferred Supplier” with our customers.
- Answer and satisfy customer complaints whenever possible to build positive business relationships.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High-level Excel proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of finance and business processes and terms.
- One year accounting experience.
