About the Role

This position supports new product development processes for small appliances, including beauty tools, grooming devices, and pet appliances, from ideation through market launch.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the product lifecycle, including market research and data analysis.
• Coordinate with vendors for materials and samples.
• Participate in team meetings and present research findings.
• Brainstorm ideas for new product development.
• Review POS data and sales analysis to understand market needs.
• Conduct market research to identify current trends.
• Create design sketches for new products and source similar samples.
• Obtain quotations and samples from vendors, evaluating quality and cost.
• Develop launch plans for newly introduced items.
• Share brainstormed concepts with the design team.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure project progress and production quality, monitoring schedules and ETAs.
• Liaise with other departments regarding changes, issuing purchase orders, approving new items, and developing promotion strategies.
• Identify and vet new qualified vendors, submitting requests and conducting audits.
• Discuss and survey products with consumers through vendors.
• Conduct surveys on product criteria such as colors and functions.
• Complete system setup in SAP.

Salary/Compensations

• 19.25 - 36.55 USD Hourly
