About the Role

Professionally manage the day-to-day operations of the 360 Restaurant Kitchen, VUE Bistro Kitchen, and Le Café Kitchen, overseeing all unionized employees and assisting with the Base Kitchen as needed. Monitor and control daily food and labor costs, collaborate with the Kitchen Management team on menu creation and employee training, and ensure adherence to Human Resources policies. Assist in business plan development to meet guest expectations and enhance restaurant reputation, while enforcing Health and Safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures company standards are maintained for food preparation and presentation.
  • Expedites and monitors the production and plating of all food service areas to maintain best quality.
  • Manages unionized kitchen employees daily through teaching and guidance.
  • Coordinates and executes food during service.
  • Communicates with the Restaurant Services team to ensure consistent service.
  • Responsible for inputting work requests for required equipment repair or service.
  • Trains and coaches team members and new recruits on HACCP, food service Health and Safety program.

Requirements

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma is required.
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of related experience in management of restaurant operations or related operations is required.
  • Unionized work environment experience is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
