About the Role
As a Blood Collection Supervisor at the American Red Cross, you will leverage your leadership, compassion, and customer service skills to guide your team in providing an exceptional donor experience. You will be a vital part of the world's largest humanitarian network, contributing to a mission that helps millions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise blood collection staff, including training and performance management.
- Drive for results and serve others with a high level of respect for customer service.
- Connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the value of their donation.
- Contribute to a friendly and fun environment by collaborating with coworkers to retain donors.
- Setup and tear down equipment for mobile blood drives as part of a team effort.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and four to eight years of work experience in a related field.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively discuss procedures and medical issues with patients, families, and physicians.
- A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
- Position may require a minimum height of 60 inches to ensure the ability to safely operate Red Cross vehicles.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.

Salary/Compensations
- 60,200.00 - 80,300.00 - 100,400.00 USD Annual
