About the Role
The Senior Manager Sourcing supports the Packaging & Logistics Tower through Analytics and Sourcing responsibilities. This role involves collecting, managing, and analyzing data to provide insights and drive improvement. The Senior Manager Sourcing will be a key member of a strategic sourcing team, providing analytical rigor and technical expertise to enhance decision-making. This individual will also lead strategic sourcing initiatives within the Cross-Enterprise Procurement Group, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop strategies, negotiate global contracts, and implement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day delivery of sourcing operations services.
- Facilitate sourcing events (e.g. RFP, RFI) through E-Sourcing tool management.
- Collaborate with category managers to ensure compliance to sourcing requirements.
- Lead key analytics activities to provide insight and drive improvement.
- Provide analytical rigor and technical expertise to improve decision-making.
- Act as subject matter expert on sourcing operations policies, processes, and systems.
- Participate in development of analytical capabilities and digitization initiatives.
- Provide leadership with regular, prioritized updates and escalated issues about operations.
- Collaborate with category managers to build an understanding of category strategy, supplier markets, and processes.
- Input and administration of POV tracking and reporting for projects in the I&I tower.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives using Collaborative Procurement Model to meet business requirements and maximize value to participants.
- Develop innovative approaches to sourcing while using analytics and processes to determine scenarios, benefits, risks, and change management impact of each of those options.
- Lead negotiations of global master agreements that result in preferential pricing, terms, and conditions for the Coca-Cola system.
- Build alignment with internal stakeholder groups about the sourcing strategy and procurement process for products/services to identify business needs and to ensure implementation to realize procurement value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or supply chain; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of work experience in the areas of engineering, business, and/or supply chain.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and judgment.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of RDBMS (via SQL) concepts.
- Data visualization and story telling expertise.
- Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
- Familiarity with mathematical optimization and linear programming.
- E-Sourcing experience.
- Programming expertise (e.g. XML, VBA, Python) is preferred.
- Understanding of strategic sourcing strategies and 7-step sourcing proficiency.
- Ability to use data and apply robust analytics to model various business scenarios and analyze resulting cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
