About the Role
As a Branch Inside Sales Support representative, you will be a product knowledge expert, supporting customers and ensuring they receive the products and information they need. You will focus on acknowledging customers, creating business partnerships through excellent customer service, and thanking customers for their business.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch, or as they call.
- Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides.
- Make it easy for customers to do business with us.
- Enter and process customer orders through Gentek’s order system.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about products, availability, and delivery status.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to customers and orders.
Requirements
- Completed High School certificate required.
- Post-secondary education is an asset.
- Experience in the building industry is valuable, but training will be provided.
- Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
- Must be computer proficient.
- High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
- Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
