About the Role

The Digital Manager oversees a team of digital buyers, ensuring the flawless execution of media campaigns, including accurate placement, positioning, messaging, and delivery of client-specific KPIs within approved budgets. This role involves working closely with leadership to ensure team training and development, maintaining quality control, and fostering productivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain overall control of workflow and assigned subordinate responsibilities within the group.
  • Oversee the progress of all projects.
  • Provide assistance to assure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain quality control of all group projects.
  • Ensure projects are produced completely, correctly, and with efficiency.
  • Encourage individual subordinate initiative and observe their personal abilities and growth.
  • Manage client business and staff in support of overall company objectives, including sales KPIs.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to support the development and delivery of client media plans, recommendations, and campaign deliverables, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
  • Ensure current staff is fully utilized and operating effectively and efficiently to meet client needs.
  • Anticipate client needs in response to changing business/market landscapes and provide proactive information/solutions.
  • Serve as the front-line day-to-day contact for digital clients, owning the daily client relationship by leading high-level digital conversations and acting as the bridge between client stakeholders and internal agency subject matter experts.
  • Ensure clear, responsive, and consistent communication by being the central point of contact for all digital topics across digital channels.
  • Actively participate in the overall management of the group, offering solutions and supporting management decisions/direction.
  • Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility, and efficiency, resulting in solutions that meet or exceed clients’ expectations.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of all special department assignments requested by management.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive levels of responsibility in media planning, buying, and management.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and a track record of success in the media services profession.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (both French and English).
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
  • Able to build and strengthen client relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervision skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Strong command of media research and reporting resources.
