About the Role

Performs cleaning and janitorial work for COI facilities, promoting agency mission, maintaining confidentiality, and providing consistent professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintains floor coverings such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Takes out trash.
• Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Cleans bathrooms, offices, and common areas and notifies Maintenance Manager of supply needs.
• Performs pick-up and deliveries as required by Maintenance Manager.
• Performs ground maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Performs general grounds keeping and landscaping.
• Has basic ability to troubleshoot worksite maintenance needs and notifies Maintenance Manager.
• Promotes agency mission.
• Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
• Maintains consistent professional customer service.
• Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.
• Performs other duties as designated by supervisor.
• Ensures cleanliness of COI facilities.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures.
• Gathers appropriate documentation and tracks outcomes.
• Participates in organizational committee structures as appropriate.
• Participates in organizational and divisional management systems.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to and including 25-50 pounds of physical effort.
• Must be able to provide consistent even-tempered customer service at all times.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the county.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
• Works compassionately with a diverse population.

Skills

• Basic cleaning skills and knowledge.
• Basic ability to trouble shoot while on the jobsite.
