About the Role
Performs cleaning and janitorial work for COI facilities, promoting agency mission, maintaining confidentiality, and providing consistent professional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintains floor coverings such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Takes out trash.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Cleans bathrooms, offices, and common areas and notifies Maintenance Manager of supply needs.
- Performs pick-up and deliveries as required by Maintenance Manager.
- Performs ground maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Performs general grounds keeping and landscaping.
- Has basic ability to troubleshoot worksite maintenance needs and notifies Maintenance Manager.
- Promotes agency mission.
- Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
- Maintains consistent professional customer service.
- Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.
- Performs other duties as designated by supervisor.
- Ensures cleanliness of COI facilities.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Gathers appropriate documentation and tracks outcomes.
- Participates in organizational committee structures as appropriate.
- Participates in organizational and divisional management systems.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to and including 25-50 pounds of physical effort.
- Must be able to provide consistent even-tempered customer service at all times.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel throughout the county.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.
- Works compassionately with a diverse population.
Skills
- Basic cleaning skills and knowledge.
- Basic ability to trouble shoot while on the jobsite.
