About the Role
Provides and prepares meals for youth, staff, and guests in a welcoming and positive environment. This limited full-time role offers consistent weekday hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with safety and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Contribute to meal planning and preparation.
- Interact with staff, youth, and guests in a friendly and professional manner, promoting a positive atmosphere.
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to maintain consistent meal service.
- Assist with special events or dietary accommodations as needed.
- Support overall organizational goals by ensuring meals are served efficiently, safely, and with care.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to handle long periods of time on feet, frequent bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities.
- Willingness to support special events that may be scheduled outside of normal working hours.
