About the Role
Vega is seeking ambitious individuals to define and build the next generation of Agentic products, shaping the future of private markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and partner with engineering teams on technical concepts to deliver exceptional AI-first solutions.
- Prototype instead of writing specifications.
- Own an agentic surface end-to-end, deciding what runs unattended and what requires human intervention.
- Ensure all autonomous actions are explainable and reversible.
- Manage tradeoffs related to reliability, latency, and cost.
- Collaborate with GP and LP operations teams to identify and eliminate manual work without compromising controls.
- Operate and deliver with urgency in ambiguous, fast-paced situations.
- Multi-task effectively, utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- 2+ years in product management, preferably in high-stakes environments.
- Hands-on experience with prompting, context engineering, and evaluations.
- Proven experience shipping LLM or agent features to real users.
- Sufficient technical fluency to discuss retrieval and tool design with engineers.
- Good judgment to determine when AI is not the appropriate solution.
- Experience with GPs/LPs, Fund administration, KYC/AML, or LP portals is advantageous.
