About the Role

The Repertoire Data Administrator will support the Repertoire Data Team Manager and Supervisor in managing recording, rights, and music reporting data. This role is crucial for ensuring data accuracy and compliance, which directly enables efficient revenue processing and royalty distribution.

Responsibilities

• Support the Repertoire Data Team Manager and Supervisor in data management services.
• Ensure data provided by members, licensees, and CMOs is accurate, complete, and compliant with PPL policies.
• Analyze repertoire, rights, and music reporting data using specialist applications and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Alliant, Birst, Tableau, AWS).
• Monitor data compliance against PPL’s Repertoire Data Policy and Music Reporting Policy.
• Identify and resolve data issues in line with agreed procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues across various departments to improve data quality.
• Perform manual intervention and maintenance to add, correct, and enrich repertoire and member data.
• Support workstreams related to rightsholder data, music reporting data, international repertoire, and Business Services projects.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely responses to internal and external queries.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.
• Assist with workflow management, process documentation, team training, and quality assurance activities.
• Identify and escalate issues that could impact service delivery, quality, or deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience working in a data processing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Experience using multiple reporting tools or data applications.
• Experience carrying out quality assurance on datasets and maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
• A passion for music and an interest in the music industry.
• Experience working in the music industry (helpful, not essential).
• Knowledge of collective music licensing (helpful, not essential).
• Advanced report-writing skills (helpful, not essential).
• Experience with tools such as Tableau or AWS (helpful, not essential).
