About the Role
This is a career path opportunity at Volvo Truck and Bus, offering world-class training, clear development pathways, and the chance to work with a respected brand in the industry. Technicians will be trained to a minimum Volvo Bronze Level, with opportunities to progress to Silver and Gold Level accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
- Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
- Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.
Requirements
- Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
- Previous experience working on HGVs.
- Completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.
