About the Role
The Product Marketing, Senior Specialist supports the Product Marketing team and the broader Interac organization by contributing to storytelling, go-to-market planning, market intelligence, and the execution of product marketing activities to drive growth for Interac. This role collaborates closely with the Product Marketing Leader and Marketing Leads to plan, execute, and measure program success.
Responsibilities
- Support the Product Marketing Leader and collaborate with Product Leads in crafting product narratives, messaging, and positioning.
- Provide support for go-to-market planning and the development of a cohesive marketing plan.
- Execute against the go-to-market plan for product marketing across paid, earned, and owned marketing channels.
- Support brief development to inspire breakthrough storytelling and creative concepts.
- Guide and direct agency partners and internal teams in campaign development.
- Coordinate market research and customer insights to identify key pain points, trends, and opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend refining of messaging and development of new campaigns.
- Provide regular reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
- Set KPIs for partner marketing initiatives and build new tracking for performance.
- Ensure continuous optimization of campaigns based on data and market feedback.
- Lead the development of sales enablement materials.
- Process invoices and track spending against budget.
- Participate in agile product squads to ensure alignment between product capabilities, business development needs, and marketing strategies.
- Support timely delivery of campaigns to meet outcomes.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in marketing or product marketing, preferably within payments, financial services, or retail.
- Experience in harnessing customer insights and market research to inform product positioning and campaign strategies.
- Experience with go-to-market planning and developing strategic product marketing plans and materials.
- Experience with go-to-market execution across paid and owned channels in both B2B and B2C orientations.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate technical features into compelling and clear product marketing, sales enablement materials, and clear agency briefings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Comms, Product, and Technology teams.
- Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
- Successful candidates will be required to complete background checks, which may include Canadian Criminal Credit Check, Canadian ID Cross-Check, Public Safety Verification, 5-year Employment Verification, Education Verification, Credit Check, and Social Media Check.
