About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic HR professional to join us as an HRBP. In this role, you will serve as a proactive liaison between HR and the business, developing a deep understanding of business needs to ensure HR drives impact. You will act as an informed and trusted advisor and change agent, supporting organizational goals and employee engagement.
Responsibilities
- Identify talent opportunities and challenges for client groups and ensure workforce implications are reflected in business plans.
- Inform HR priorities and evaluate demand for new or adjusted HR offerings.
- Execute existing and new HR solutions and capabilities.
- Partner on hiring, development, and advancement of team members, including working with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition.
- Explore external marketplace trends and make recommendations on their potential impact on internal employees.
- Proactively manage Employee Relations by providing guidance, interpreting policy, and resolving issues.
- Develop and execute HR strategies with leadership to support organizational changes (strategic, structural, technological, people-oriented).
- Help manage change and uncertainty among employees by providing guidance and support during transitions.
- Facilitate cultural integration by identifying differences, fostering dialogue, and implementing activities for a cohesive environment.
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires and offboarding experiences for departing employees.
- Focus on retaining key talent by identifying critical individuals and implementing retention strategies.
- Evaluate individual or unique roles to ensure fair and competitive compensation, partnering with the Compensation team.
- Identify and develop high-potential employees and ensure future leadership pipelines.
- Collaborate with managers to create career development opportunities for employees.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Help managers implement performance management systems for regular evaluations and feedback.
- Maintain transparency and open communication to keep employees informed and manage expectations.
- Act as a steward of HR policies and procedures, gathering feedback and running audits.
- Advise leaders, providing coaching and support as they navigate complexities and lead teams through change.
- Foster collaboration, cross-functional partnerships, and professional networking within HR and across the organization.
- Listen to business problems, challenge leader assumptions, inform leaders about talent implications of decisions, and recommend alternate explanations.
- Reprioritize actions for immediate implementation of ad-hoc topics or assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years in progressive HR with geographically distributed employee populations.
- 1 or more years supporting customer experience functions.
- Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational behavior.
- Experience or practice facilitating workforce planning processes.
- Familiarity with facilitating talent management processes, such as talent reviews and succession planning.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, build strong cross-functional relationships, and communicate effectively with employees, leaders, and executives.
- Proven experience managing moderate to high complexity employee relations issues and driving change.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environment preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred.
- Experience working in Finance or Insurance industry preferred.
- Familiarity with Workday preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (PP, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.) preferred.
