About the Role

The Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the program’s leadership team, responsible for implementing and overseeing new clinical services, providing supervision and professional development to licensed staff, ensuring timely access to quality clinical care, and managing administrative functions for program compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee new clinical services to meet community needs.
• Ensure clients have timely access to quality clinical care.
• Identify and address gaps in clinical services.
• Lead the implementation of evidence-based treatments or innovative models of care.
• Monitor client show rates and appointment availability.
• Provide direct client services, including intakes and crisis interventions, as needed.
• Supervise crisis intervention services.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in quality assurance activities, such as chart reviews.
• Provide individual and group supervision to program staff.
• Integrate recovery, rehabilitation, treatment, and vocational components.
• Monitor and follow up on program incidents.
• Participate in hiring and orienting new staff.
• Complete performance appraisals and address performance concerns.
• Conduct or participate in staff training and development.
• Monitor staff attendance and scheduling for program coverage.
• Supervise staff according to licensure.
• Plan and participate in program activities.
• Facilitate team meetings, case conferences, and other meetings.
• Ensure program and staff compliance with regulations and standards of care.
• Utilize electronic databases for billing and fiscal management.
• Develop systems to improve program operations.
• Serve as backup for other program leadership.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Education Level

• Master's degree in human services
• New York State clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT)
