About the Role

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the user journey from first app open to habitual engagement. Your work will ensure users receive critical weather information at the right time. You will collaborate with Product Marketing, Product, Design, and Data, focusing on user experience and product value. This role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution of campaigns, triggers, and messaging to build a lifecycle program for millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs at each journey stage and build strategy to meet them.
  • Own lifecycle strategy and execution for a defined audience, channel, or journey stage (onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, winback).
  • Build, test, and launch multi-channel campaigns and journeys (email, push, in-app) using segmentation, triggers, and personalization.
  • Own the full production process: build and maintain templates, set up CRM campaigns, QA sends, and deploy.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure feature launches include user adoption plans.
  • Help define the lifecycle calendar, campaign intake, and QA processes for scalability.
  • Identify user drop-off points and build re-engagement flows.
  • Run a disciplined test-and-learn practice, designing A/B tests and using results to guide journey evolution.
  • Write and brief lifecycle messaging and creative that is clear, on-brand, and useful.
  • Monitor program health (frequency, timing, relevance) to ensure users feel helped, not spammed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Design, and Product Marketing.
  • Maintain QA standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate campaign build, setup, copy iteration, QA, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing or growth marketing in a B2C environment.
  • Experience in a consumer subscription business with web and mobile app properties is ideal.
  • Hands-on experience building campaigns and journeys in a modern marketing engagement platform.
  • Experience with segmentation, triggers, and automation.
  • Track record of owning a channel or lifecycle stage end-to-end (strategy, build, launch, measurement).
  • Experience building and maintaining email and push templates.
  • Experience managing the full production process.
  • Experience pulling and using your own reporting, defining success metrics, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Experience running A/B tests and translating results into actionable steps.
  • Track record of writing lifecycle copy and providing specific feedback to creative teams.
  • Fluency with user data flow across systems for segmentation, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data system issues.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work with demonstrable results.
