About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the conversion of Ebury's clients into hedgers by building the necessary journeys, workflows, and decision tools. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and commercial, collaborating with various internal teams and clients to improve the hedging conversion rate.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end conversion journey into hedging, backed by a dedicated squad of developers.
  • Develop journeys and lifecycle workflows from spot client to hedge-active to policy client, including identifying and addressing drop-off points.
  • Create guided, staged journeys with the right message for the right client at the right moment.
  • Build triggered workflows based on real events like new currency pairs, large invoices, or rate movements.
  • Analyze and build for the differences between clients who convert and those who don't.
  • Develop decision tools for clients to visualize their international business exposure, model scenarios, and understand impact.
  • Create tooling for CPMs to provide a portfolio-level view of client exposure, trades, and performance.
  • Surface signals for CPMs to identify timely conversation opportunities.
  • Productize successful conversion strategies from CPM conversations.
  • Drive repeat hedging and the transition of clients from ad-hoc trades to standing hedging policies.
  • Implement a cadence of A/B tests across the journey to measure and improve conversion rates.
  • Build measurement frameworks to track conversion drivers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of product management experience, including at least one role owning conversion, adoption, or engagement outcomes end-to-end.
  • Strong analytics and experimentation skills, including funnel analysis, cohort and retention analysis, and designing/interpreting A/B tests.
  • Experience designing lifecycle journeys or triggered workflows, and the messaging that supports them.
  • Fluent English for daily collaboration with global stakeholders.
  • Prior FX or hedging experience is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Familiarity with foreign exchange, hedging, or other asset classes is a plus.
  • Experience in fintech or regulated financial products is a plus.
  • Experience building internal or advisor-facing tooling alongside client-facing product is a plus.
  • Localisation awareness is a plus.
  • Strong Product Fundamentals: ability to break down ambiguous problems, work across UX, data, and operations, and focus on outcomes.
  • Funnel & Journey Thinking: ability to identify client drop-off points, design staged journeys, and size opportunities.
  • Two-Sided Design: ability to build for both clients and internal teams, understanding trade-offs between automation and human judgment.
  • Behavioral Instinct: understanding of triggers, incentives, and habit loops for conversion.
  • Analytical Depth: ability to partner with data teams and build/defend exposure and funnel views.
  • Commercial Awareness: understanding of how product decisions impact revenue and margin.
  • High Agency & Pragmatism: comfort operating in under-defined environments with a bias to action.
  • Deep Customer Curiosity: regular engagement with clients and CPMs to inform decisions.
