About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Standing Forklift Driver to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely move, load, unload, and organize products within the warehouse. You’ll play an essential role in supporting warehouse operations, maintaining accuracy in product movement, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate a standing forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Accurately move products to designated storage or staging areas.
- Verify and maintain product accuracy for inventory and orders.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including trash removal and general upkeep.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating standing forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
