About the Role

At Texas Mutual, we're creating a stronger, safer Texas. You will explore new data sets and work with business to support our data model as we continue our data maturation journey in AWS/Snowflake. Responsibilities

• Use data knowledge to identify, retrieve, prepare, manipulate, calculate, and exploit structured and unstructured data sets to create new data sets
• Evaluate new data sets for use in data modeling and report building
• Maintain the data environment
• Use data preparation tools (e.g. Coalesce)
• Resolve data quality issues
• Provide consultation to others with regards to data, systems, and concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience
• At least 2 years of related data experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
• Quantitative degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science)
• Data Warehousing / Data Modeling experience
• Experience with data preparation tools
• Insurance industry knowledge
• Strong SQL skills
• Texas residency required
• Ability to travel to designated office as needed
