About the Role
Killam Apartment REIT is seeking a customer-focused and energetic Cleaner to join their team at 321 Westminster Avenue in London. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste
- Wash windows and interior walls
- Pick up garbage
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas
- Clean vacant units
- Complete minor maintenance repairs
- Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven communication skills, both written and oral
- Valid driver's license and access to vehicle is considered an asset
