About the Role
We are seeking a Social Worker to join our team in Neukölln, specializing in youth and family support. This role involves providing assistance with educational measures and family support, with foreign language skills being a plus. You will work in a diverse and flexible environment, contributing to our outpatient youth services.
Responsibilities
- Promoting the development of children and adolescents.
- Providing counseling for everyday practical and social problems.
- Accompanying clients to appointments and assisting with applications.
- Supporting parents in their interactions with their children.
- Conducting anamnesis, documentation, and report writing.
- Collaborating with youth welfare offices, cooperation partners, and the support system.
- Contributing to the development of our services.
Requirements
- State-recognized degree in Social Work/Social Pedagogy.
- Other recognized pedagogical university degrees (e.g., Heilpädagogik/Rehabilitation/Special Education) with at least 18 months of relevant work experience.
- Empathy and professionalism in dealing with the target group.
- Intercultural competencies.
- Communication and enthusiasm.
- Enjoyment of teamwork.
- Constructive collaboration with youth welfare offices/authorities, network partners, and other support services.
Skills
