About the Role

Enerveo is seeking a Highways Lighting Operative with an HGV2 license to join their team. This role involves driving an HGV to transport street lighting equipment, operating a HIAB crane for column positioning, and assisting with installation tasks. The position is crucial for delivering essential highway infrastructure and offers opportunities for skill development.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 HGV to transport street lighting columns, materials, and equipment to sites.
• Operate the vehicle-mounted HIAB crane to safely unload, lift, and position street lighting columns.
• Work alongside experienced Jointers and Electricians to remove and replace street lighting columns.
• Assist with excavation, reinstatement, and other hands-on tasks during the installation process.
• Play a key role in delivering essential highway infrastructure.
• Develop skills across a range of highways electrical activities.
• Undertake manual work, including excavation and lifting.

Requirements

• HGV Class 2 licence.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Willingness to undertake manual work, including excavation and assisting with installations.
• Ability to participate in the on-call rota.
• Must live within the Ealing Borough or surrounding area due to the one-hour emergency response requirement.
• Must fully complete pre-employment screening, including a basic DBS.
