About the Role

Write, edit, and optimize high-quality betting content for a leading sports betting site, focusing on the UK and English markets. Cater to diverse user groups within sports betting and the iGaming industry, creating content that performs well in organic search and achieves significant reach.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit informative and engaging sports and betting related content for owned assets, such as reviews for sports betting sites.
  • Collaborate closely with the SEO manager to ensure content is optimized for search engines.
  • Edit and improve existing content that is performing well on Google.
  • Edit and optimize sports betting tips articles for news sections across a variety of sports.
  • Ensure all content, including betting offers, is up-to-date, accurate, and compliant.
  • Work towards dedicated KPIs and user metrics within a goal-oriented team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience using a content management system.
  • Knowledge of SEO and ability to apply best practices for organic search performance.
  • Ability to write and edit content to meet the needs of a target audience looking to bet.
  • Some betting experience or knowledge of the betting industry.
  • Keen eye for detail, willingness to learn, and a proactive attitude.
  • Pride in work and determination to reach goals.
  • Willingness to embrace AI to improve content and web page performance.
  • Must be able to attend the office a minimum of two days per week.
  • Not considering applications from remote workers.
