About the Role

The successful candidate will provide legal support to T. Rowe Price’s business operations across APAC, EMEA, and Canada, with a primary focus on EMEA. This role involves supporting funds, separate accounts, registration, and related matters, working closely with legal teams in London and Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support for EMEA and Canada institutional and intermediaries client agreements.
  • Maintain and update various agreement templates (e.g., NDAs, investment management agreements, investment advisory agreements, distribution agreements, fee agreements).
  • Maintain internal legal databases and systems, compiling and validating relevant data points.
  • Prepare drafts of agreements and review/analyze existing agreements.
  • Provide legal support for T. Rowe Price’s Luxembourg, UK, and Canadian fund ranges.
  • Maintain legal procedures relating to the funds.
  • Assist with offering documents and regulatory filings.
  • Prepare contracts documenting internal relationships between T. Rowe Price entities.
  • Assist with monitoring relevant regulatory developments, conduct research, and participate in project groups.
  • Support ad hoc company secretarial matters.
  • Track and meet continuation of registration and corporate obligations.
  • Become familiar with requirements in Luxembourg (CSSF), the UK (FCA), and Switzerland (FINMA), among others.
  • Work closely with other business groups, London Compliance, outside counsel, and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the asset management industry or a related field.
  • Demonstrable related work experience or vocational qualification.
  • Exposure in drafting and reviewing contracts is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to take instructions from legal counsels or other parties and manage/prioritize workload.
  • Must be able to work independently to an extent.
