About the Role
You will have the opportunity to flex skills as a general manager across credit, operations, and technology in a critical area of our business that is responsible for delivering over $1B in revenue, poised to lead a revolution in technology-led risk management and meaningfully invest in our customer agenda.
Responsibilities
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and customer success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior.
- Ensure our terms are mission aligned and unassailable in the market.
- Develop and implement enhancements in our technology capabilities to lead the enterprise in risk management.
- Drive a roadmap of continuous improvement while ensuring critical business processes continue to be invested in through PDCAs.
- Manage and develop a cross functional team of analysts, process managers and product.
- Coach and mentor associates throughout the organization with a goal of developing and retaining talent at Capital One.
- Build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise.
- Foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and consistently deliver results.
Requirements
- 5+ years of leading analytical, process and product teams
- 5+ years of leading a cross functional team of 8+ reports
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment
- A deep understanding of product economics and PNL experience
- High level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
- Can collaboratively drive teams and stakeholders with disparate goals
- Able to present to executive management often and in a compelling manner on key KPIs and results
