About the Role
Lead the Data Centers vertical market as part of the National Accounts team, setting strategy and business plans to drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, technical trends, and competitor positioning.
- Develop and drive business strategy for the Data Center vertical market, providing updates to leadership.
- Elevate team professionalism and drive process improvement for customer experience.
- Scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing, and representative leadership.
- Lead the implementation of vertical market strategy with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor product and marketing activities.
- Collaborate with marketing to determine appropriate materials and visibility at trade shows and meetings.
- Lead a team of Data Center experts, driving pipeline growth and qualifying new national accounts.
- Evaluate sales plans to meet changing customer and market requirements.
- Plan for, hire, and train new headcount, promoting performance management and career development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in sales or business development.
- 6+ years of people leadership experience.
- History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
- Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.
