About the Role
WorkWell NYC seeks an independent and highly motivated Program Evaluation Fellow to provide monitoring and evaluation support for worksite wellness initiatives aimed at improving the health and well-being of City of New York employees. The role involves data entry, tracking program outcomes, and developing systematic reviews.
Responsibilities
- Support monitoring and evaluation of workplace wellness programs with the Program Evaluator.
- Compile, enter, and summarize data.
- Create and present reports on summarized data.
- Research innovative and effective workplace wellness programming.
- Attend staff and WorkWell NYC meetings.
- Provide other program support as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data entry and management, specifically in Microsoft Excel & Airtable.
- Experience with statistical software like Stata, R, or SPSS is a plus.
- High attention to detail and meticulous data entry and management.
- Highly motivated self-starter, flexible, and able to balance multiple assignments with deadlines.
- Completed at least one course each in program evaluation, statistics, and epidemiology.
- Previous experience with researching and developing systematic reviews.
- Previous experience with program monitoring and evaluation.
- Previous experience with the City of New York.
- Previous experience with health and wellness promotion programs.
- Ability to participate in external agency/site-based health forums.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- Must live in the New York City Tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT).
